On July 27 & 28, 2004, the entire regional MI Resource Group chairpersons and/or representatives met in formality to discuss common needs while evaluating the committee structure.  Special guest speaker, Cal Durland-ACORD, attended the meeting to discuss and help promote the formation of a national organization and to review the benefits of becoming a participating member of ACORD and various related organizations.

The regional group executively formed the National Users Development Group for MI.  Officers selected include John Wickhem- Chairman, Dan Butler- Vice Chairman, and Dan Lancette- Secretary/Treasurer.

The filing for incorporation has taken place with the State of Wisconsin.   Once the incorporation is complete, a national membership drive will commence.  Membership fees are set to be $20 annually.  The membership drive is scheduled to begin with this Fall's regional resource group meetings.
